The small print, in plain words
7-day Pro trial
Pro starts on install and runs for 7 days. No card, nothing to cancel. When it ends you drop to Free, and nothing you made is deleted: folders, pins, tags and prompts all stay.
Lifetime means lifetime
$59 once unlocks Pro for that extension with no renewals. We honor it for as long as the extension exists, and it does not quietly turn into a subscription later.
Each extension is licensed separately
Sidebarly Folders for Gemini and Sidebarly Folders for Claude are separate extensions, each with its own Pro license. If you want Pro on both, that is two purchases. Free works on both.
Payments and cancelling
Payments are handled by ExtensionPay and processed by Stripe; we never see your card. Cancel any time from the extension's settings, and Pro stays on until the end of the period you paid for.

More than one computer
Pro is tied to the email you pay with, not to one machine. On another computer, install the extension and log in with the same email from the upgrade screen.
Pricing questions
Do I need a card for the trial?
No. The 7-day Pro trial starts when you install. If you do nothing, you move to the free plan when it ends.
What happens to my folders if I go back to Free?
Nothing is deleted. Everything you created stays and keeps working. The free limits only apply when you create something new, so you may need to tidy up before adding a sixth folder.
Why are Gemini and Claude licensed separately?
They are two separate extensions in the Chrome Web Store, so that each one only has access to its own site and each can be found by people searching for that app. Billing is attached to each extension, so each has its own Pro license.
Can I get a refund?
Yes. Email support@sidebarly.com within 14 days of any payment, including a lifetime purchase, and we refund it in full.
How does Pro sync work?
When you turn on sync, your folders, pins, tags, prompts and settings are copied into Chrome's own sync storage. Chrome then carries them to your other Chrome browsers signed in to the same Google Account. It never passes through our servers. Message text is not synced.
